Abstract |
Background. Article 17 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation establishes the general rule that the fundamental human rights and freedoms are inalienable and belong to everyone from birth. Thus, the Basic Law constitutes the legal moment of origin of the citizen’s rights. However, the question of the legal moment of termination of rights remains open. The aim of the work is to determine the main characteristics of citizen’s legal personality termination in the context of the right to die, as well as to analyze decisions of the European Court of Human Rights in the said field. |
